Hi - I’m Becky.
I’m a creative marketing lead, podcast producer and voice artist, with a background in BBC radio and over a decade of experience using audio and content to help people discover - and stay with - stories they love.
I work with audio because it’s intimate, habit-forming, and powerful when it’s designed with intention.
Across radio, podcasting, marketing and voice work, I’ve been interested in the same thing:
Who content is really for.
How it fits into someone’s life.
And whether it earns a place there.
My writing explores podcast development, audience-first design, and the thinking behind audio that people don’t just try once — but return to.
Podcast development & audio strategy
Audience-first storytelling
Content-led growth & engagement
Interview-led and narrative formats
Voiceover and spoken-word performance
I began my career as a BBC Radio 1 producer, working on live output, studio production and guest booking.
From there, I moved into roles across BBC Worldwide, publishing and entertainment publicity, before leading audio-led marketing and content strategy for a national education organisation - using storytelling, podcasts and community to drive meaningful growth and retention.
Alongside senior roles, I’ve continued to make independent podcasts and work in voice acting, keeping me grounded in the creative reality of audio-making - not just the strategy.
